Reload X-Configuration File
For : Mepis 6.5 By : je.saist This guide covers re-loading the X.org configuration file in Mepis Linux 6.5 once the CD is loaded. 1: Starting at the /root desktop from the LiveCD. ![]() 2: Left Click on System ![]() 3: Mouse up to Mepis ![]() 4: Left Click on MEPIS X-Windows Assistant ![]() 5: The MEPIS X-Windows Assistant defaults to the repair screen for X.org. ![]() 6: Left Click on the down arrow next to Destination Disk, which will show all active drives. Left Click on the drive that Mepis is installed on. ![]() 7: In my case this would be sda. Now the / (root) partition entry shows sda1 - (size) ![]() 8: Left Click on OK ![]() 9: Mepis will then confirm that the X-Configuration has been copied.
